Day 13 - 7/8/24

A very quiet day. We slept in again and read for a good portion of the day. We decided to head back to Beaver Island for the night just because. While walking Kona we met the folks who we briefly met at Squaw Island. They were there spraying for poison ivy and told us they were the metal house on the bay. During the 4th they had everyone on their lawn and they blew air horns for my mini recital and had told me how much they enjoyed it. He showed us his really cool army surplus shed house first hand and photos of the Squaw island lighthouse back when it was new and the island was completely barren of trees. The shed was soooooo cool, hard to explain but .

And that’s all we did. Just enjoying life and feeling the sun.
