We made the crossing back home to Cedar River, officially ending our 2026 sailing summer adventure.

A calm, uneventful two days. Soaking up the last of our summer adventures

Kona had the time of her life and I got to dance like I’ve never danced before!

We found out we have to go home a week earlier then expected due to poor planning on my part and we got rained on in a downpour. But none of those things really dampened our moods.

Got to enjoy a little of Frankfort and then address some issues aboard

We got to sail on our last long moving day for awhile. To our one of our favorite places, Frankfort, MI

We got snubbed by rich people, but found the townsfolk to be much nicer. We ran into more folks who we know and made new friends on a 100 foot schooner!

I had the most amazing time at the wheel on our way to Petoskey. We enjoyed the town a bit for dinner and were hunted down by friends we met two years ago

We crossed over to the USA and enjoyed an evening of hiking and having dinner in Cedarville, MI.

We tried really hard to wear Kona out but all she did was make us laugh really hard. We absolutely love the beach here at Wagosh Bay on Cockburn Island

Much like yesterday, we used our dinghy to explore more of the areas we already know. And we got a campfire!

Went exploring the anchorages of South Benjamins and soaking up heaven

We had a great day in Little Current. Getting chores done before we head west, saying good-bye to good friends and celebrating Pride!

It rained all day Wednesday and we hiked and relaxed on Thursday

The calls of the Loons and the breathtaking stars are leaving us all philosophical.

We didn’t do much but relax. And then we went hiking and swimming

We hung out all day with Playfair and hiked to Lake Topaz with them. We had a stunning sunset and evening after we bid them farewell

We left Killarney with Playfair and had a very slow sail to the Pool.

We played tourist a little, had some ice cream, delivered a lot of beer as goodwill and hung out with the Captain of Playfair
