Day 2 - 6/27/24

Oh my!! The stars aligned for a wonderful visit with my trumpet professor at Bradley. His whole family was up in Door County this week. I used to baby sit these kids. It was just luck that the weather was perfect that they were able to join us in the morning in Egg Harbor. We picked up anchor and had a wonderful sail with lunch to Nicollet Bay! That meant so much to me and it was good to see them.

After Richard and Maren took the scooters back to retrieve their car we said our good byes. We decided to chase Brett Unks all the way to Fayette, MI for the night. It would mean a long day and us getting in around 12:30 but the winds were fair and had following seas. Dinner made by Cory.

After we finally got in I noticed the welcome lights of the north and smiled realizing I’ll be seeing a lot of these now.
