Aaaaah! Lazy day!!!

We slept in a little and took Kona for an extended walk on the beach before the weather came in. We laughed as she brought us the biggest sticks possible and looked at us like “what, this stick is perfect…come on throw it already!!”

The beach here is so fine and lovely to walk. We marveled at the wind difference between the break water and how obvious windward and leeward look when you know what you are looking at.

We came back to the boat, still at anchor as the marina is full, and had a large charcuterie lunch and took naps. The rain started around 4 and the winds picked up really strong into the night. Anchor held well and kept the hundreds of salmon fisherman from speeding past our boat after dark. We stayed up late listening to music and dreaming of our life together.
