8/16/24 - Day 52

Oh my, we slept til 10am! Good thing Kona girl really has a great bladder. The weather was nice so we took her for an extended walk along the beach. Big waves from overnight let us enjoy watching people surf and even Kona having to navigate the waters. She was very fond of her stick and insisted we carry it back through town. Everyone along the way cooed over her and her prized possession.

We had a late first meal around 2pm so we made dinner. My mom’s flank steak is always a treat.

We apparently are tired or being able to relax after 7 weeks at sea so we napped. We went and got ice cream and visited the local legion for hamburger night. It’s calm, not much else to report
