Day 9 - 7/4/24

The 4th brought a beautiful calm day. We pulled anchor in the morning to go get the black tank emptied and then re-anchored for the day in the same spot. We pulled up a lot of weeds but also a lot of mud and she was in good.

We skipped the Beaver Island holiday parade and took the scooters with Kona to Donegal Bay. She ended up running 6 miles round trip not including all her beach time. We wore her out.

We made a lovely dinner and I got out of dish duty by playing a mini patriotic concert from the bow. After that we had front row seats to the boat parade at dusk followed by lovely fireworks. Kona wasn’t too happy and we may try and avoid fireworks going forward with her but she survived.

It was a lovely holiday.
