Day 6 - 7/1/24

Saw a deer this morning at Fayette. She was not scared of us and just kept teasing Kona. Kona tested well and didn’t even try to give chase. I wish I could say that about the flocks of geese she has had fun with here.

Onward to Beaver Island. Barely any wind but we did manage to get some sailing in. Nice and easy means I got some wheel time. The wind this year has been either none or HOLY MOLY. It’s getting annoying.

We made breakfast after we cleared the narrow passage out of Fayette. I think I actually practiced trumpet on the bow for 1/2 hour and also played my Uke’s and learned a little harmonica.

Got to Beaver Island about 6. Let Kona go to shore for potty and then had a lovely dinner. Richard and I got a bit of sun today, so ready to rest. Guess that nasty high wind is going to keep us here a few days. Darn.
