We made our 18th crossing of Lake Michigan to come to my favorite place

The exhaustion catches up to us every few weeks when things slow down just enough to notice

We toured Washington Island by scooter

Just a few days of turn around and chores. Happy to be back on Ciara for a little while longer

We had a perfect sail with a good friend and enjoyed our day at our home marina

We had a really great family day exploring Fayette and had guests visit as well!

Cory goes “fishing” in the middle of Lake Michigan

Just a rinse and repeat day, but Captain and i set a record for how long we have been living aboard

We spent the majority of the day OFF Ciara and enjoying land. And seeking out shade and/or A/C.

Captain got a good solid hour of amazing sailing and it made everything better

We were able to cruise past our originally planned stop and make it well into Michigan waters for the night

A very laid back day to take count of our blessings

We didn’t move today as expected and just enjoyed a day at anchor

We enjoyed beautiful weather, even if we didn’t have perfect wind on our last day in the heart of the North Channel

We headed west to a new anchorage at Crocker Island and enjoyed a bonfire high on the rocks above the masts down below

The Spirits of the Stones wished us well as we left this beautiful anchorages this morning

Thanks to our new dinghy motor we could get to a trail head 2 miles from our anchorage!

We enjoyed a day cruise down our first inlet and enjoyed every moment of it!

I got motion sickness and rested most of the day, but had a wonderful evening with friends at the Killarney Mountain Lodge.

We hiked Casson’s Peak and helped closed the lounge at Killarney Mountain Lodge
